Healing meditation

Healing occurs when the mind, body and soul (spirit) are working in a total balance. The result is awareness, focus and a total well-being, on multiple levels. Here is a great healing meditation for you to try out in the comfort of your own home.

Start with sitting in a comfortable position, on a chair, or on a mat, if possible in the lotus position. Lotus position is not a must though.

Imagine that your body is slowly filling with a bright white light, starting from the top of your head (from your crown chakra), and moving slowly downwards towards your feet.

As the light is moving downwards, down your body, feel your muscles and your mind relax, completely relax.

Go over your body a few times, touching with your mind any areas of pain in your body. Imagine that these areas are surrounded by a dark shadow.

Go over these areas with the bright white light to remove the dark gray shadow, leaving these stops are bright and clean, and without pain as they were before the suffering started.

If you still have some pain, send extra healing light to these areas. Feel the loving healing light remove the shadows around the diseased or painful areas.

Feel that …
    I radiate my shining light to my body and fill my bodies with this warm healing light.
    I now radiate this healing light to the world.
    I begin to feel that this healing light is returning me to health and vitality.
    Perfect health is available to me now.

Once you end the exercise, allow yourself to just be. Don’t think, don’t judge, don’t rationalise. Just be.

After the meditation is over, make sure to drink at least one full glass of crystal clear water.

Practice this meditation every day, whenever you have a few minutes (10-15 at least) free time and you are in a state of discomfort which you want to get rid of.
